Following on from Kris’ original post about what resources or capabilities he has available to prepare for a Zombie Apocalypse, Kris now looks at an exit strategy. To see phase 1, go to: http://www.krismccabe.co.uk/?p=840
Before I go into Phase 2 of my awesome plan to survive the Zombie Apocalypse, I just wanted to share this with you. I saw a tweet from @ItsRyanFlynn on Bear Grylls Twitter feed:
I feel a lot safer knowing that this knife has been used in another Zombie Apocalypse!
Anyway, I am going off the subject… here is Phase 2 of my plan:
Phase 2: Should I Stay or Should I Go…
So at this point I am now prepared for anything that could potentially happen during a Zombie Apocalypse. So it’s time to formulate a survival plan. Since I live in Swindon, there are many hazards that will slim my chances of survival. If the flesh eating Zombie’s don’t take me, the local chav’s with burberry hoodies will! To make things worse, driving in and out of Swindon is like trying to navigate a maze of roundabouts and pointless junctions.
I live in a very sturdy building – in fact it is a loft conversion. So I have the advantage of height to see whats happening on the ground. I could even pick the Zombie’s off with my archery kit. However staying in one place too long will inevitably doom me to being eaten…
The answer is obvious I am going to have to make a break for it. Time to load up my car with all my supplies and get out of Swindon to head south to the coast. Zombie’s can’t swim right? Only problem now is navigating my way out of Swindon to avoid the chav’s and the zombie’s. Its a very good thing I have a TomTom to navigate my way out… only problem is it hasn’t been updated in 3 years! This is why I have a road atlas in the car too… but since there has been a lot of changes to the roads in Swindon in the last 3 years, this is also out of date…*sigh*.
I will let you know whether I get out of Swindon alive.
